With the buttons together (my old one had one on top and one on the side) it makes it much easier to manipulate the blender.

This hand blender is powerful, very easy to use, and clean up is a breeze. Even putting it together or taking it apart for storage is a quick one-step procedure. It’s my favorite kitchen aid.

It’s very powerful, almost too much so. It seems to be very sturdy and well made. My only real complaint is that it takes two hands to start it, because it has a button that must be depressed before pressing the start button (much like many yard and garden tools). This is awkward for me.
