The design is very nice. The juicer leaves the produce extremely wet. It's not extracting all the juice. I keep having big chunks of produce that wasn't juiced. The blades aren't the best. Overall I would love a better juicer but for what I have it makes tasty juice.

I am not satisfied with the juicer. I had a previous one for a fraction of the price of this one and I love it, just the blade got dull. Too much of the waste is staying in the way of the juice. I will be returning it to the store.

I've been juicing for many years and owned several juicers but for over a decade I used the centrifugal L'Equip with its impressive 10 year warranty. That was my benchmark.
I like the various juicing speeds.
All juicers have personalities deriving from their design, that take a bit of getting used to, so there are only minor things that are in the disassembly/assembly that take getting used to but nothing major.
I like the measuring cup that skims away the foam from the juice A LOT.
The dial on the spout is okay but the circles indicating the size of the opening are very easy to miss because they're black barely raised circles, against a black background.
The Cuisinart's motor seems to match the L'Equip in power and is much quieter. So far this juicer is holding its own, but it seems Cuisinart lacks the confidence in their workmanship to back it up with a 10 year warranty as L'Equip was able to do instead of a 3 year warranty.
Primarily because of the anemic 3 year warranty I rate 4 stars out of 5 for the Cuisinart Juicer
