Doesn't leak or throw shreddings around like some and it's super easy to clean. After some I've used I was anxious about the cleaning. To my great delight, everything I was worried about has been fixed in this model. I can't adequately express how pleased I am with my juicer and my wife says I'm always negative.

thought i would use it a lot, but it is just another mess to clean up, dont use it very often, If you are into all the health benefits I am sure I would use it more, It is a good machine and does a great job no problem with it guess I am on the lazy side of life

While I love my juicer, I’m very disappointed in the overall design. I expected better from cuisinart. The unit is practically impossible to clean thoroughly. Particularly the spout and the bowl it is attached to. Said bowl has an inverted lip that juice gets up under and is such a pain to clean. Also, any buildup in the mesh bowl from juicing certain harder veg throws off the mechanism.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
