This fridge fits a small space

So far it refrigerates well but it is quite a bit noisier than the one we replaced

Hello - we are very glad to hear that your refrigerator is operating as it should, but we do apologize that is noisier than your previous refrigerator. We can see how discouraging this must be and we understand your discontentment.
It is typical for newer refrigerators to sound different from older refrigerators, as modern refrigerators have more features and use newer technology. Just to be sure, though, we encourage you to check out page 19 of the owner's manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000478-1.pdf. There, you'll find a list of normal operating sounds for this model.
If you discover that your refrigerator is making abnormal sounds, then we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your refrigerator. You can schedule service online at: https://www.hotpoint.com/appliance-support/ or by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET or Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET.

Slimlined Refrigerator

I bought a slimline version of a Hotpoint refrigerator. It was the perfect frig for my small kitchen and was easy to get into the house and then into the kitchen. It is very quiet and is doing its job. I am very happy with my choice.

I bought this, to replace the hotpoint refrigerator I had. The old one was purchased in 2006. It was shorter than expected, smaller, but works great.

I bought this when the refrigerator in the camp I bought was no longer maintaining safe temperatures. It's the perfect sizw- not too big, not too small. It works well and has been the perfect solution.
