Very loud

This refrigerator is basic and does the job as our overflow fridge. But thankfully it's in our basement because it's very loud. We would not be able to put it in our kitchen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To be sure that your refrigerator is making normal operating sounds, check out page 19 of the owner's manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000478-1.pdf.
If you discover that your refrigerator is making abnormal sounds, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your refrigerator. You can schedule service online at: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm or by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET or Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET.

I like the refrigerator but really wish it had a third drawer for cold cuts, I miss that. It's too small but it was the only one I could get on short notice.

Love The Big Racks On The Door Great for Gallon Milk And The Handles On The Side Of The Door Has More Room In Freezer Than My Old one Happy I Bought It

Aside from the operating noise this frig makes, it is spacious for it's size. would have preferred glass shelves. works well
