Amazing new stove!

Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great. This is my first electric glass top stove, so I have no idea if this is how they all are, but It is tough to get the cook top clean. If one of hte pots boil over or spash water out and it gets on the stove top, it is nearly impossible to get it clean. I have to get a razor blade and really scrub the thing to remove the spots.

Good replacement - not so good instructions

This range is replacing a 14-year-old one of the same style. I liked the old one and the improvements (warming burner, larger under-storage, steam-clean oven) encourage me to like this one. My only complaint is with the instruction manual.
It obviously is written for several models and that sometimes makes the instructions confusing. For example: It says (on p.24) that an explanation of the "convection oven" is on page 26 (p.26 explains about using the "broiler" feature). Also, on page 23, in the instructions for setting the timer, it says to press "start" when in reality one needs to press the "timer on-off key" (it took me a while to figure this out). And, page 27 says "For heavier baked on soils, use the Self-Clean feature" (apparently only on select models, but that is not stated).
I'm not sure if there are other miscommunications but I probably will use trial and error rather than trying to use the "Use & Care" guide.
Lastly, I hope this range will last at least as long as the previous one (14 years).

Don't Be Deceived

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "Delay Start" only allows you to delay the start of baking by one hour. It is not the Time Bake feature you may have thought you were getting. You can't arrange for baked potatoes or sweet potatoes to be done at a much later point in the day if you are going to be gone.
