[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's basic and gets the job done it just takes forever and makes a lot of noises that I have never heard of dishwasher make before. Stays pretty wet inside after the load is done.

We want to provide information about your dishwasher's performance. Newer dishwashers are designed to use less water and energy while maintaining cleaning performance, which can result in longer cycle times. It is normal for many dishwashers to run for two hours or more, depending on the selected cycle and options, such as Heavy Wash, Wash Temp Boost, or Heated Dry Boost. For additional information, including estimated cycle times, we recommend reviewing page 6 of the manual here: https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--EszXjA26--/2ee1c206fc195cd1717cedf8b41e2ab95579670c.pdf.

We strive to build our products to operate quietly. This dishwasher is rated at 59dBA, which is comparable to the sound level of moderate rainfall or a normal conversation. Some operating sounds are normal during the wash cycle, as the dishwasher uses various components and functions throughout the cycles.

For improved drying performance, ensure the water entering the dishwasher is between 120-140°F, avoid overloading the racks, and use a rinse aid. Selecting the Heated Dry option can also help improve drying results. Additional drying tips and recommendations are available in this article: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451.

Within 3 weeks of having this used 3 times I’m having a leak and the home builder thinks its the door not sealing properly and it has warped my trim. I’m going to have it warrantied but I’m halfway tempted to just go buy a better one.

We want to assist with your dishwasher's leaking issue. For a new dishwasher, the door gasket will need several complete wash cycles to properly seat and form a tight seal. We recommend checking that the edges of the control panel are not contacting the adjacent cabinets, as this can prevent the door from closing and sealing properly. For additional information and troubleshooting based on the location of the leak, please review this article and select the option that best matches the issue you're experiencing: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=23644.

We'd like to assist with the bottom rack and with the rust you are noticing. We recommend first checking the lower rack rollers to ensure they are properly on the rail and that none of them are bent. If you notice any of the rollers out of alignment, we recommend removing the rack and adjusting the placement. You can view our article here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=35591 for additional information. One of our agents will be reaching out over email to assist with the rust spot. Please respond at your earliest opportunity.

Average on its best day.....

The racks are not adjustable which makes it very difficult to maximize space. The top rack requires a pipe (sleeve) to go into another in the back of the unit. This rarely aligns. The dishwasher does not dry well either.
Response from geappliances.comBy TierraGE_AppliancesAugust 13, 2026
We'd like to assist with the operation of your dishwasher. Although the racks of this model are not adjustable, they do offer loading flexibility and total wash coverage. We recommend reviewing the loading tips in the article below to help ensure the upper rack is positioned correctly and the wash system can operate as intended: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=19573.
When it comes to drying the load properly, make sure the inlet water temperature is at least 120°F. You can check the temperature of the water entering the dishwasher using a candy or meat thermometer. Turn on the hot water faucet nearest the dishwasher, place the thermometer in a glass, and allow the water to run into the glass for at least one minute, or until the temperature stops rising. You can also check the rinse aid dispenser and refill it as needed. For more troubleshooting advice, see here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451.
If the issue persists, please call 1-833-4BODEWELL or visit this site https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service to schedule a service appointment.

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is pretty quiet, which I love with small children. It does a decent job cleaning. It doesn't feel like it takes a long time to clean. I don't like how the bottom rack feels to small for the unit. It doesn't roll well in or out. The dishwasher door itself is very light, compared to my previous units. Its a very simple and basic unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to assist with your dishwasher's lower rack. It's important to make sure you don't overload your dishwasher's racks. Overloaded racks will prevent the rack from gliding smoothly. Our dishwasher upper racks are life-tested to handle a 30 lb. load; Lower racks are tested to handle a 50 lb. load. You can find information on properly loading the racks on pages 11-15 of the owner's manual, found here: https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--EszXjA26--/2ee1c206fc195cd1717cedf8b41e2ab95579670c.pdf. If this doesn't help, the next step we recommend is to uninstall and reinstall the lower rack to ensure it's in place on the supports. If the issue continues, we recommend scheduling service with our Bodewell team by calling 1-833-4BODEWELL or online here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
