New Whirlpool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a Whirlpool dishwasher and am very pleased with the new machine!!! I especially wanted the third shelf as I didn’t have one. The bottom shelf configuration works very well. Happy with my new Whirlpool.

Good product and plenty of space

Runs quiet and cleans well - daily use on normal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been couple of months of nearly daily use. It’s been working well for normal loads drying pretty well with the automatic door opening; I’m hoping it will hold up to the test of time. Adjustable middle shelf was nice feature to use one time so far. Mainly running light loads. Runs quiet and 1.5 hours for normal run is nice.
Haven’t used other features, yet. So far, so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Whirlpool is the worst

I regret buying this Whirlpool dishwasher. Right from the start, it’s been a total failure. The top rack never worked—even a small paint smudge would stay on the dishes like it was untouched. After a couple months, the bottom rack stopped working too. What’s worse is we didn’t realize it and were eating off dirty dishes. A few weeks ago, we got really sick, and I’m certain it was from this. This is a major health hazard—do not buy this Whirlpool dishwasher. It’s a complete disaster.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Water Supply: Ensure the water supply valve is completely open and the water pressure is between 20 to 120 psi. Verify correct installation of any anti-flood device.
Rinse Aid: Use liquid rinse aid to optimize drying, improve wash performance, and control hard water deposits.
High-Temperature Wash: Consider using a high-temperature wash option to improve cleaning for loads with tough, baked-on food.
Proper Loading
Do Not Overload: Ensure enough space for water and detergent circulation.
Angle Items: Load items at an angle, pointed toward the spray arms, to promote water runoff and better drying.
Plastic Items: For best drying, load plastic and nonstick items in the third-level rack (if available). Do not put them on the lower rack.
Detergent Usage
Type: Use automatic dishwasher detergent only. High-quality pre-measured tablets and packs are recommended for improved performance and reducing film.
Placement: Place pre-measured detergents in the main compartment.
Storage: Store detergent in a tightly closed, cool, dry place for freshness.
Dish Soap: Never use dish soap. If suds are present, turn off the dishwasher and allow them to dissipate.
Maintenance
Hard Water: If your water hardness is 15 grains per U.S. gallon or more, a water softener is recommended to prevent damage and achieve good results.
Cleaning: To remove white spots and film, use affresh® Dishwasher Cleaner or a white vinegar rinse. More than one treatment may be required for severe spotting. (Review Cleaning the Dishwasher Interior for more details).

Safety and detergent issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The detergent was not totally dissolved half of the times after the normal wash cycle. The top two corners of the door are extremely sharp and hard, resulting in bruises on my ankle and shin when unintentionally kicking on it as the door was fully opened on a horizontal position.

Great Dishwasher

Versatile loading options and features
