We hate to hear that your new dishwasher has left you feeling less than impressed. We are constantly working to make our appliances better, and we’ll be sure to forward your feedback to our product team so that we can continue to improve. We’ve linked a few articles below to help you get the most out of your new dishwasher.
It does the job. A normal wash setting and dry setting pretty much cleans the dishes and dries them well. Note that I soak dishes in water for a while before putting them into the dishwasher. I also like the gray interior color instead of the typical white color.
We have to run it twice to make sure there is no soap left on the items that were just washed. That is very unfortunately. But the dishwasher came with the new build house. Or else we would have gone with a better dishwasher. This is not a forever home. So no need to replace it.
Dishes dont dry and the push buttons are not friendly to start and complete a cycle of cleaning. The inside is dark and always wet .Instructions are lacking. Far too expensive for the poor quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We want to help out with the drying performance and push buttons. You can check the following article for some tips that can really help maximize the drying performance. (https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451). In regards to the buttons, we suggest trying a quick electronic reset. This can be done by removing the power cord for 30 seconds and plugging it back. You can also reset at the breaker for the same amount of time. If you are still experiencing issues, we suggest scheduling service. You can do so by calling 1-800-432-2737 or by visiting this link here (https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm).
