Good afternoon! Thanks for your feedback. We're so glad you are happy with your new dishwasher purchase and we’re sure you’ll enjoy great performance from it for many years to come. Thanks for making GE Appliances a part of your home! We're wishing you the best. - Sharon@GEA
The dishwasher has been working perfectly as expected. Very user-friendly with the control panel. The only downside is that the door seems to be a little cheap. Meaning the materials are very light and can feel it’s made of mainly plastic.
The door is super flimsy and just seems cheaply made. I would have liked to see an adjustable rack on the bottom so we can fit bowls easily. We like to place bowls and plates on the bottom shelf and glasses on the top. Also I would have liked the silverware container to have different options of placement, like on the door or right in front. It seems that the right side is the only place the silverware can go. It is super loud. When ours was installed it wasn’t placed with insulation on top and we can’t find anywhere to purchase some, so we have to adjust to a loud dishwasher. One other thing is after every wash, we have to manually push a the white button to reset it, where the lock is on the door. Otherwise it will keep saying it’s clean and we can’t press any other buttons to start a new load. Overall, the cleaning is adequate. We have had a few dishes I’ve needed to rewash. But it gets things clean in an average amount of time.

Hello there, we really appreciate you taking the time from your day to reach out with your honest feedback. We're glad your dishwasher is cleaning well and we would also like to apologize for the noise level and the clean light. We understand how this is annoying so we'll be sure to take all your comments into consideration for future reference.
To help with the light, we recommend disconnecting power to the unit for 2-3 minutes to reset the controls.
We hope that helps. We want you to know we're wishing you the best and we value your feedback.

Hi, there! We're so glad your dishwasher is doing a good job of cleaning. Here is a great link to check out that describes normal dishwasher noises: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16269
The plastic tub smell is normal and the smell dissipates during normal use.During initial use you may smell the tub material, chlorine bleach in detergent, or the smell of rinse aid. You can also try running the empty dishwasher through several cycles using detergent to see if that helps.
We're glad to have you in the GE Appliances family! - Sharon@GEA
The thing on the door will not engage the thing on the frame so it will not run! Called customer service and the soonest they could get here is one week. This is a brand new machine in a brand new condo. Also the microwave is making weird noises. I’ll mention it to service when he gets here next week.
