Our dishwasher does it's job, but sometimes it does not clean our dishes properly. Also lots of water spots on our dishes and it is a new dishwasher. I've had older dishwashers before that was much better at cleaning dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, and thanks for letting us know about your experience. We hate to hear you’ve had an issue with your dishes not always getting clean, as well as having water spots on your dishes. This certainly isn’t the experience we want to provide for you, and we regret the trouble you’ve had.
Regarding wash performance, you may want to make sure the water temperature is at least 120 degrees F, and the filter isn’t clogged. For the issue you’ve had with spots, a high enough temperature may help with that as well, and using a rinse agent may also help. We have additional troubleshooting tips about both issues in the manual, with the troubleshooting section starting on page 19: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-4000218-2.pdf&_ .
We hope these tips are useful, but if you continue to have trouble and think service may be needed that department can be reached at 1-800-432-2737 or online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm ; a technician would be glad to examine the unit for any issues. If you have any other concerns or questions we’re glad to offer assistance any time – all the best! -Sarah@GEA
A little noisy when on, but overall cleans dishes satisfactory. We just moved into a new home build and didn't get to pick our appliances. Not unhappy with this model, but would have chosen an upgraded version if had the opportunity to do so.

Hello- We appreciate you taking the time to share your review. Congratulations on your new home! That is very exciting! We are sorry that you wouldn't have chosen this model, but glad it is cleaning your dishes well. A rhythmic knocking sound is most likely caused by the spray arm hitting something inside the dishwasher as the spray arm rotates. To solve the problem, rearrange dishware inside the dishwasher to provide clearance for the spray arms. The spray arms must be free to rotate for good wash performance. Please review the following link to get the best performance from your dishwasher.
tried your contact us page. Didn't get anywhere. Builder warranty had expired. Did have extended warranty. Waiting over 2 weeks and no one has a timeline as to when dishwasher will be repaired or replaced

This product was purchased as a replacement to a GE dishwasher that rusted within 3 years. Less than 1 year and it is rusting and loud.
