I purchased this dishwasher 8/2021...worked great until this past weekend. Now it's totally dead. Checked the power, circuit breaker, etc., still nothing. Tried a reset thinking perhaps it was locked up - nothing.

Thank you for your patience in waiting to hear from us. We look forward to talking with you soon. All our best.
I love our new dishwasher. It really cleans well, and is quiet when cleaning. Controls are easy to understand. Two problems I’m having with though. 1. It has had a funky smell emitting whenever I open it up to load or unload dishes. I was hoping it was just the initial smell of a new appliance, but we’ve had it since mid-August and it still has an odor. 2. I took out the screen and food trap to clean it (thinking that this may be the reason for the smell, but no…), and it was filled with gunk. The thing that bothers me the most is that the area that the filter is in, is still filled with water, which never seems to drain out. Is this normal???
Racks rusted after two years and started staining our dishware. The rubber coating wore out. Usage was only about 2x/week so not much. Now I’m trying to decide if I should get replacements but with the first set wearing out after only 2 years I’m a bit concerned this will happen again. There are others with same complaint of rusting racks if you dig deeper into the parts section for this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this dishwasher installed as part of the appliance package when I bought the house(new construction). Builder's document says that the diswasher is stainless steel as part of the stainless appliance package. But it turns out to be that this dishwasher is made of plastic interior and not a stainless steel dishwasher. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi - Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective on your new dishwasher. We are saddened to hear you are not pleased with the unit and apologize for your disappointment. While the interior of this unit is plastic, the outside color finish is stainless and we're confident it was the color finish the "package" description was referencing. Please reach out to us again if you have any questions or concerns. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
Builder grade dishwasher. Had no choice in selection/. Too noisy, even when using the drying cycle dishes still come out wet. You would think that the builder would place a quieter dishwasher in an open concept kitchen that is open to dining room and living room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
