Excellent product. Dishwashers make a lot of noice but this one is bearable and if you are watching a movie you won’t even notice. Cleans of greasy dishes pretty well.
This dishwasher was newly installed in our new home and I would not recommend. Lots of plastic pieces. The “handle” is not set correctly because it’s cheap. Condensation is left in it all the time and starts to smell strange. Now it won’t lock when you close it, so we can’t wash anything since the door won’t shut properly. When it does work, it is very loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello- -Hello- We appreciate you taking the time to contact us with your feedback. We would recommend reaching out to your dealer/retailer about the door lock not working properly since its still within your warranty.
In regards to the condensation and noise, we were able to find some additional information in the use and care manual on page 22 that can help here-https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-4000218-2.pdf&_ga=2.261571917.1764831284.1668523029-1451762796.1666719384
Hope this helps! Let us know if you need anything else. All the best! Dianna@GEA
We were stumped when we went to do our first load and there was no utensil holder. The holes in racks are too big to hold any utensils so I always have to wash those by hand.

This dishwasher is the absolute worse appliance. Newly installed and used it 3 times. Does not clean the dishes/ residue from the one (Finish brand) capsule. Does not dry inside at all even on Boost. Stays wet inside and smells even when emptied. So NO it does not sanitize! So cheaply made. Wheels don't turn - so you clumsily drag the bottom rack out. Poorly designed; you can't fit anything inside. I've owned several dishwashers in my life and never had a dishwasher issue, especially when brand new.

Hey there, and thanks for contacting us about this. We hate to hear you’ve had trouble with the dishwasher not cleaning well, not drying, the wheels not turning and you have a concern with fitting items inside. This certainly isn’t the experience we want to provide for you, and we regret the trouble you’ve had. Notice of your feedback will be sent to our team for review.
After checking our system, we do see you’ve been in contact with our service department. If you want to get back in touch with them, they can be reached at 1-800-432-2737 or online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm . If you’d like to try troubleshooting for the machine, we do have tips that may help. For the issue you’ve had with residue and dishes not getting clean, you may want to make sure the filter isn’t clogged and the water temperature is at least 120 degrees F. A high enough water temperature may help with the drying performance as well, and using a rinse agent can also improve drying. Additional troubleshooting details are available starting on page 19 of the manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-4000218-2.pdf&_ . We also have an article discussing odor here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=38932&_ .
Regarding the issue you’ve had with wheels not turning, you may want to make sure they’re all in place and the rack is on the track properly. We’ve got more information on what to check if the racks won’t pull out properly here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=38988&_ . For your concern with fitting items, we did design the dishwasher with a larger capacity to help fit in plenty of items and larger dishware; if it might be useful, the manual does also have loading tips starting on page 11.
We hope this information is helpful. If you have any other concerns or questions, we’re always glad to offer assistance. -Sarah@GEA
Our dishwasher does it's job, but sometimes it does not clean our dishes properly. Also lots of water spots on our dishes and it is a new dishwasher. I've had older dishwashers before that was much better at cleaning dishes.
