WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

Since day 1 this was installed it has never clean the dishes completely. I have done everything per manufacturer direction but the dishes are not coming clean. I made a huge mistake thinking this was a decent dishwasher but I WAS VERY wrong. I’m so TIRED of wasting my money on American dishwashers. Will be buying German made products from this point going forward.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Water Supply: Ensure the water supply valve is completely open for proper washing and rinsing.
Flood Prevention Device: Verify that any anti-flood or flood-prevention devices are correctly installed to allow water flow. Some KitchenAid models have a Leak Detection System that will flash a light and drain water if a leak is found.
Rinse Aid: Use liquid rinse aid to optimize drying performance and help control hard water deposits.
High-Temperature Wash: Consider using the high-temperature wash option for improved cleaning, especially with tough, baked-on food. The water pressure should be 20 to 120 psi.
Proper Loading:
Do not overload the dishwasher; ensure space for water and detergent.
Load items at an angle, pointing toward the spray arms, to help with water runoff and drying.
Load plastic cups, bowls, and mugs in the third-level rack (if available) for best drying and to prevent deformation. Do not put plastic items on the lower rack.
Detergent: Use automatic dishwasher detergent only. High-quality pre-measured tablets and packs are recommended to reduce white film, and they should be placed in the main compartment.
Hard Water: A water softener is recommended if you have extremely hard water (15 grains per U.S. gallon or more) to prevent damage and achieve good results.

A complete piece of junk

The motor and pump died after a year and a half. Support was unhelpful with the expensive repair not even a discount on the parts. It became clear that do not stand behind their product when there is a major failure. So disappointed! Think twice before you buy this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous dishwasher had been working well for 13 years, top brand. This time I select KitchenAid, I believe KitchenAid is top brand as well. It is pretty good, but still has some room for improvement.
1. No Darin Hose included in the package, I checked user manual and installation guide, and found no package checklist.
2. I installed it myself, so I could see more installation details other user can not see. For example, Insulation cotton is not attached to the machine, it is easy to shift off the best location during installation.
3. Customer Service call can not be reached. Online live chat just send customer service number to me, no realistic help.

Broke after first use. Still awaiting repair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the dishwasher over one month ago. After the first use, the coupler that connects the bottom spray bar to the washer melted and disconnected the bar. The repairman came out, and told us that this is a common problem and he had already seen several similar complaints that day. We are now awaiting for the repairman to obtain the needed part to come back and make the repair. In the meantime we are able to use the top two shelves and although those clean well it is ridiculous that a brand new washer should break like this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the 3rd rack

I am very pleased with the quiet operation, low volume button chimes, and my 3rd rack for oddball pieces. The pointless finish on the unit is a huge bonus!
