One of the Best Investments I have Ever Made

I originally bought 2 100' boxes. After installing, I realized I could use an additional 50' section to complete my house. I cannot tell you enough how much I love these lights. They have been exactly what I have been looking for in an everyday light, holiday light, party light, etc. I bought the original Permanent Lights, not the Pros. These lights are so simple to use and install. I am not a fan of heights so I worked up enough courage to get on a ladder and walk across my roof. After installing, the app is so much fun to play with. It was a little difficult for me to understand but I am learning with the help from others in the Govee Facebook groups. This has been one of the best investments I have ever made.

Great product - expensive - but great product with a few gotcha's

I love this product, and what it has done for my Christmas lights. The Pro version is a better version but you are going to pay for it. It is more DIY which I like, with the exception of the wires. They are SMALL and FRAGILE. I'm not sure why they went with filliment and not solid. Solid would have been way more DIY and durable. I do basic electrical, but messing with these wires and cutting and splicing them is tedious and nerve wracking. They recommend a tool which I love, but it does not work well with these wires. So heads up plan ahead. Also Plan your layout. I used just the 3M adhesive for now. We are going to be getting new gutters next year so I didn't want to go overboard. Hopefully the will hold until then and then I can screw in the mounts. Also, Test the distance from the wall. It says 3 - 8cm which is about 1 to 3 inches I split the difference. I ordered the 200' box because I was unsure how far to go around. I WAY over ordered, but it's nice having backups and I can go around to the back of my house. Yes I would buy these again

I recently received the Christmas set plus bundle and am so excited to put them up…only problem is that during the unpackaging I noticed that I'm missing the blank extension. So hopefully someone can correct this issue sooner than later and I'd be happy to come back and give an updated, honest review of the actual product.

212ft need two power adapters?

I have the 200ft run with driver module installed per instructions. Aka after 5th string. I need 12 more feet. Can I just connect 1 more string w/o another power adapter? I have the 100ft box as well and can use that elsewhere but need 1 string on the end of my 200ft run.

GOVEE Lights up my life

They were fairly easy to put up. I think cleaning the surface prior to applying the 3M sticky pads/lights was the key. I only had a couple fall down. Govee supplies extra 3m pads and brackets to secure the wires and lights. The neighbors are jealous, so I like them more.

Nearly there; overall “good”

The stickem doesn't hold in heat. Used staples on each side and in between for permanent mounting. Changing the colors manually to create your own color set is time consuming and tedious: each light bar is so small, there are constant mis-presses touching other bars and the app has to 'update and accept' each color which takes 1-2 seconds. Nothing is instant by any means in the app.

Love them but not installed

After many watched views on how to install, I still wish I could find a company or individual that would install them. I hate to have spent the money on these to install them wrong. So with that, I have been holding off on getting them put up on the house.
