Not so permanent permanent lights

You can absolutely believe all the reviews about the horrible 3M sticker pads that fall off before you blink. I just got through 2 miserable days of hanging 311 ft of lights in 2 days in Central Texas where the temperature was almost ideal for them to stick. I followed the directions to a T and destroyed my arms cleaning each landing zone where a light would stick. After the first day I noticed a few lights to go back and re-stick them. By the end of the 2nd day I would say close to 50% of the lights fell off. Incredibly frustrating considering how many hours I had just spent hanging the lights. I was hoping they would have stuck longer so I could get around to securing them underneath my soffit, but no such luck (and the plastic tabs they give you to reinforce them are a PITA to use so I opted to use my staple gun. Unfortunately they just kept falling off and what should have been completer in 1 weekend will now take 2 to go back around and stick them back up and staple them permanently. Govee really needs to read the reviews and change course with the garbage 3M stickers. False advertising with the word "Permanent" being a part of the lights. Be aware that the middle yellow cable is super thin and rips very easily while splicing.
Other than that the lights are awesome. I'm looking forward to when the lights actually become permanent and I can use them longer than the 3 hours I had them on before more lights fell off...

Enjoying the new lights. They went up as expected. I do wish that I could operate the app from my deskstop rather than my phone.

Great and amazing project, I bought the pro light and was able to cut and extend the wiring to hide the wires and make it look professional without the major cost. Will be adding more lights

Rgbic outdoor lights

These are great outdoor lights. I have 2 sets running the whole perimeter of my home. I would be great if I could run more than 150 foot on one signal but that's not allowed so the front of the house and back of the house don't sync colors perfectly but when using a solid color it looks great synced up.

I love the outdoor lights, but I had a problem with the extra strand I ordered to go on 50 ft strip. It caused the whole strand to blink. I tried to reset everything, even took it off the wifi, but I could not get it to work properly. I final just took it off and threw it in a drawer. I could not return it because had already discarded the package. but I'm glad that I will not need to put up Christmas lights anymore. The fireworks setting was great for the 4th of July. So, I'm still pretty happy with the product.
