Love the Lights; The app, not so much.

I am very happy with the lights. I wish they came with more clips to secure them, the tape doesn't work so well on the old wood where the lights were installed, but the the lights are great.
The app is fine, and easy enough to use for pre-programmed setting, but is not very user friendly for making you own lighting design.

I've done exactly what the instructions say to do. Several of my lights have came off and I don't have enough wire clips to attach them back. Love the lights just wish the lights stuck on better.

The lights are great but the navigational portion of the app is less to be desired. Would like to see it dummied down a bit so one doesn't have to go to tech school to navigate. Would be nice to open it and choose a color(s) and pattern you'd like to see without the hassle. My wife and I still haven't figured it out the way we want it. We just got lucky by pushing buttons and left it where it landed.

These are beautiful, they're so easy to use, but they allow for really complicated use as well, if you're into that.

Govee finally came out with a black wire and lamp set. I have dark brown soffit and the previous white wire set wouldn't have looked good. The PRO set has a lot of extra pieces and spare parts to enable different installations as well. I did have one string that the adhesive pads didn't seem to stick well but I was able to use the spare pads included in the kit. I would like to add an additional string or two to the 100' set I purchased. Hopefully this will become an option. Another thing would be nice is if the controller came with more preinstalled scenes, I know you can build your own but.... As also mentioned on another review, more clips provided in with the kit would be nice. Also a thought - could the lights be provided with screw holes at 90 degrees to the wire so the lamps could be screw to the mounting surface?

Great lights but needs better accessories

I absolutely love the pro outdoor lights. What I hate is that you can't get extra controllers. There is no reason for this. Separate zones or even a replacement for a lightning strike or power surge are valid reasons for them. All the forums complain about this.
