I highly recommend the Govee Permanent 2 outdoor lights. I ordered them as a gift for my parents, and the lights arrived promptly. The instructions and packaging were clear and helpful, and installation was straight forward; I used the sticky tape option, but also included are screw in supports that look great for some circumstances. Setting up the app was simple, and I was able to show my parents how to use it in less than 20 minutes. They’re experts now at changing the schedule and lighting scenes, and the house is transformed beautifully by the lights. I’m completely satisfied, and they are over the moon.

Purchased to use during Christmas but the product failed to turn on. Paid an electrician to install and when the time came to turn on and connect via the Govee Home app, nothing. Hours of troubleshooting. Seems like the control box. Emailed, called, ticket opened. Rapid replacement and not one communication to ensure a replacement would be sent. If these lights were not already attached to my home I would probably just returned for a refund and took a loss on the labor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
