PRO TIP: Power up BEFORE installation

I bought 3 segments of these lights and only 2 will power up. They are supposed to support up to 9 segments. I was told by support to reorder the segements. Wow, nice since they've already been installed. I've tried every combination and they even sent new lights & I still cannot get a 3rd segment to power up. PRO TIP: Light them all up first before installing them but nice when they work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great lights

Just do it! These are awesome! I was on the fence about doing the install myself or hiring someone but I decided to give it a go myself to save money and I’mDgrave13 glad I did. They turned out better than I thought, only had to make one splice and 3 jumps for my elevation and I finished in about 5 hours. They look awesome!

Great lights, awsome light selection, cool app. I'm able to control each light separately which is good for my chopped up house. I have the cuttable type. The connections are simple. The splice kits are easy.
BUT... Absolutely a terrible design for attaching the lights to vinyl soffit. A lot of them came off after a couple weeks. The straps they give you useless and the screws are very difficult to work with. I ended up getting my own miniature straps and screws and supporting the wire on each side of the light. That seems to work well. I hope they redesign the light with some type of bracket to screw it too the surface.

Had been wanting permanent lights, but your product needs to improve greatly for twice the money you are asking. Asahom is such a better deal. 12 more lights per 100 foot of wire, much greater lumens, and higher outdoor safety from weather rating for the outdoor block. The fittings are completely interchangeable with Govee, which makes me wonder if they are made in the same factory.

The loghts are awesome, as long as the power supply doesn't overheat and fry your chord. I've only had mine since October 25, 2025 and they're already broken, still trying to get replacement parts.

Beautiful lights and brings us joy, however they started to fall within 48 hours and by 72 hours most of the light strings had fallen :( screw clips should come standard!
