I have had my griddler for 4 weeks and can't believe how much I use it. I have cooked steaks, hash browns and eggs. It's so easy and I just push a button and release the plates and put them in the dishwasher and I'm done. Living alone it is ideal for me. I know it would be great with a family.
This has been great addition to my kitchen. We are grilling vegetables, sandwiches, wraps and bought the additional waffle plates and are using for breakfast as well. We also use it to make crispy Indian crepes called ‘Dosa’ they trrn out better than the stovetop griddle that we traditionally use.
I received this as a gift. It works as it is supposed to although I haven't put the grease trap to the test. It's not something I would have bought though, as there is nothing that I can't do with a plain ol skillet. I dont particularly see any added convenience as it's easier to grab a skillet and put it on the stove than dig this out, put it on the counter, plug it in, figure out the right heat setting, take it apart, clean it and put it back together. A good skillet does all this and with cast iron I don't have to worry about potential 'non stick' toxicity.
Wanted an appliance for the RV that could do multiple cooking methods ans easy to clean up. This does the job. No smoke or splatter and you just pop out the trays and they simply wash right up. I am getting use to the cook times because they are different. When comparing this to other grills it seemed better constructed.
