This reload is a soft-sided bottle of toner: it's opening clicks into the printer's opening, pours neatly and quickly into the tank, empties easily, and is returned (empty) for recycling. I was dreading the need to refill, because thought I needed to replace the whole tank, or somehow pour a liquid in -- but this was the easiest and neatest possible version of refilling! HP should market how easy this is as a good point of the printer itself -- honestly the ease of the process is a selling point!

Step-by-step instructions in the box make it easy to refill the tank. First time it took me less than five minutes. It's well designed to ensure the toner goes into the tank and no where else. I save so much $$$ with the laser tank printer. I'm thrilled with it. And, it eliminates toner cartridge waste.
