Excellent for reading, writing, using the Web. I'm not using this computer for gaming or any memory-intensive work, so for my uses this was an unbelievable deal: lightweight, with excellent graphics, speed and memory.

This computer is everything I need as an engineering PhD student. It has a solid battery life and can run data analysis programs without lagging (Solidworks, MATLAB, Graphpad, etc.). The keyboard is comfortable to use. Even though the power button is in the top right corner, where I'm used to the delete key (which is right next to it), so I keep accidentally pressing it, it doesn't power off the laptop with the light touch, which I really appreciate. I do miss having dedicated home/end keys (which are now incorporated as functions on the right and left arrow keys).
I would recommend this to a friend!
