I am very pleased with the general usage, fast and comfortable. However, when I set up my computer Microsoft took it over and I had problems with the one drive. I called HP support and was transferred several times, and much to my disappointment, no help was given.
Perfect size for me with great picture quality on the screen. Boots up quick and runs all my tabs and apps smoothly. Only complaint is the battery life-- I'll be running only Spotify and Google Docs, with brightness and volume on low but still only get so many hours out of it. Not sure what's eating up the battery as it's still brand new and these aren't energy intensive apps as far as I'm aware. Lightweight and slim, it fits anywhere I take it which is impressive given how big of a screen size it is.
I'm just an average home user - Great laptop with lots of available add-on options - the display is nice and bright and fills most of the screen - the keyboard keys are nicely spaced and responsive - like that the keys are a different color than the laptop - Cons: wish HP would have kept the dedicated power port and cable - feel like daily using the USB-C port will cause damage or the port will become loose - it just seems cheap robbing the customer of an additional USB-C port Lots of Blot-ware that had to be deleted or disabled but that comes with most manufactures
I had been using a slightly older 17" HP laptop but found it was getting heavy to carry to meetings , etc. as I age. But I still needed a good screen size. The HP OmniBook 7 Laptop AI 16t-ay000, 16" met the bill and was on sale when purchased. I used HP products for years and have never been disappointed!
I'm disappointed with this laptop. I play very simple point and click games and it glitches and slows down. The graphics card should have no issues keeping up. I've had laptops with less processing power and built in graphics card with no issues. I could have got a laptop for much less money to do what I need.
