Chromebook to this adapter and then client using the VGA with no success. Horrible product at this point as we have a large percentage of issues out of the 25 of these we purchased. Contacting Startech now to see if they can help as our client is not happy.

Doesn't work - advisor also could not help

I'm trying to use with my pc though when using to connect to HP screen it disables sound . Help via CHAT no help at all

We apologize for the issues you are experiencing with our travel dock. This sounds related to playback devices changing when connecting the screen. To change this, Please right click the audio icon in the Windows taskbar, select "Sounds". When a new window pops up, please select the "Playback" tab and set the default device to whichever you want audio to come from.
If that does not help, please don't hesitate to contact us and we can try to help further, we even offer free remote support.

I have had this Multiport Adapter over a year and it has worked as expected and very flexible as to interfaces.
