I got this because I am sick of buying batteries. We installed this panel and it works great, after two we have built up to about 51% charge. My only issue with Reveal's solar panels is that in order to get it to recognize on the app as an external power source, you have to do this little trick with an empty original battery pack, something we don't usually carry on us way out in the woods, so we can't monitor the solar panel via the app until we slog all the way out there and do "the trick. " There shouldn't have to be a trick involved when pairing accessories to the camera.

I ran my camera over a year with just the solar panel which cost for what I would have spent on batteries. Great product that keeps you out of the area and no wondering on the power level needed to run your camera.

Love this solar/battery combo. I dont need to have any batteries and they keep the camera live without having to change batteries
