Good game but can get tricky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved playing the game Clue when I was younger. My daughter has several play through once mystery games and loved them as well. This one is perfect for 14+ as the story line can get confusing and it took a while to read through and comprehend the directions. It’s best played with more than 4 players but is still fun!

More complicated spin on Clue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've played this game with the rules for 4 person modifications. It is definitely more complex than the traditional Clue game but gives a slight nostalgic feel when you're playing. I think it's best suited for older teens, but even our 14 year old was over playing after about 15 minutes into the game. After our first time playing we were all thinking "I'm not sure I want to play that again anytime soon." I think that's just because we were all frustrated by having the read the rules over and over to figure out what we should be doing. I think this game has potential to be a lot of fun, especially if you have more people. With four people it was sort of obvious who was on the "Friends" and "Conspiracy" teams. Something we will try at our next family and friends game night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of clue in general and this is a different spin on a classic. Not to spoil anything but there are traps throughout the game and nobody can be trusted. Made for a great family game night!

Fantastic update to a great classic game

It introduces new elements like a special powers for each character and double sided game board. Art & design are visually appealing and the gameplay very engaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s one of my favorite games , we play board games every weekend and this game has the rules very clear and everybody understand how to play very quickly, we think that the best option for play it’s with 5 or more people to be more interesting , for me it’s a excellent sequence of the original clue game. It’s perfect for all the family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a really big fan of the original Clue board game and have been playing that with family and friends since childhood. However while it has an unlimited amount or variations it did need and ‘update’ and this is the perfect new solution. A perfect strategic mystery game that centers around conspiracy and accusations. Best played with 4-10 players but honestly. The more the better and it just gets more tangled with any additional player. You find yourself at the Black Adder Resort trying to figure out who is trying to murder the manager. Lots of character and location cards (that could be boobytrapped!) Are you on the friends side? Or the conspiracy side? Who will uncover the murder? Hours of fun!!! It’s best for players 14 years and up as the story can get slightly complicated. Love this game by Hasbro and would definitely recommend it!
