A great addition to any set

This little three inch parer is the perfect addition to most sets. Generally you get a 4" parer in sets, which is a great knife, don't get me wrong. But for those smaller tasks like peeling an apple or removing blemishes from potatoes, this is great.
The Pro line is the best workhorse of a knife out there. You cannot beat a knife that's forged from German steel and made in Germany. It will definitely stay sharp and last a lifetime. The curved bolster is so very comfortable and the three rivet handle has the perfect weight and balance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everyone's training knife.

The paring knife. The first knife that most, if not all of us, used in our mother's kitchen. The perfect size for little hands and little fingers. So we all have opinions on paring knives. We are all experts!
This is a really good knife. It is part of the Pro line. It features one of Zwilling’s best quality steels so it will its edge as well as stand up to a lifetime of use. The innovative angled bolster is easy to grip, keeping the thumb and forefinger in the correct position for maximum control.
My only rub on this knife is I prefer a narrower blade. Even though this elliptical shape glides easily around an apple (my test of a good paring knife), I still prefer the narrower blade. (See Zwilling Four Star and Pro S lines for options.) But I am old school. And this new Pro line exemplifies the newest, most ergonomic thinking in knife making. It's your call.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the size and quality of this pairing knife, I’m somewhat knew to quality knives so I was a bit hesitant to spend the same amount I could get a whole block set for with some of the cheaper knives.. I could not be happier with my decision. This will be our 3rd Zwilling knife product! The knives comes sharp right out of the package but I will be having it sharpened here at a local knife sharpener in order to get the full potential out of this baby. My wife and I spend more time cooking together ever since we have been using these knives.

This Pro 3" paring knife, is a go-to knife for peeling vegetables and fruits, cutting small fruits and vegetable, so as meat. It is perfect traveling knife. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. It is dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended.

Perfect Paring

Whether you select a 3 or 4 inch paring knife is a personal preference. But I have to say, I find both useful. This little 3 " paring is great for small jobs. Very easy to use in your hand.

If you need a smaller paring knife, this is the perfect choice. The Pro handle and the unique curved bolster will allow you the best comfort and control when tackling those smaller prep tasks.
