I was overjoyed to see a DC Comics set that was not just Batman. I can't wait to see more of these. My one complaint is that Superman is the character who has the mech. I definitely think it should have been Lex to have the mech because since when did Superman need a mech to fight Lex Luthor? Other than that, I am very pleased. The price is also great considering that Lego is typically very overpriced

Finally happy to see another DC character that ain’t batman! I understand the mech goes for the heroes but this is Superman! Lex Luther should’ve gotten the mech to have a fighting change against superman, kinda hard to explain why Lego did this to a 10 year old. But awesome set!

Why is Superman the one with powers in a mech? Fighting Lex a human villain who has actually used mech suits in comics and TV to fight Superman

As a long-time fan of DC, I couldn’t help but scratch my head at the planning behind this LEGO set. Superman™—a character who can already fly, has super strength, and is essentially a god—doesn’t need a mech. The person who really needed the boost is Lex Luthor, a human with no powers, going up against Superman’s immense abilities.
Whoever came up with this concept should definitely brush up on their DC 101. Lex in a mech? That would make sense. But giving Superman a mech? It’s like handing a flamethrower to someone standing in a volcano. A bit of a missed opportunity for some logical, compelling play scenarios.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ordered this set January 1st when it released. Quick easy fun build. I have a few Star Wars mechs also. I think all the Lego Mechs are fun sets you can build while listening to music, or watching your favorite sports team.

Lego DC is making a comeback! The Superman and Lex Luther figures are absolutely excellent. The colors for the mech pop too. This set is an affordable way to obtain great mini figures. An A+ from the Brick Professor.
