More challenging that initially thought

Fun game, but setup and rules are a little conplicated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played this with my husband and 2 children (ages 12 and 14). The setup and getting the rules down is a bit much for the first time playing, but we all agreed we wanted to play it again. Honestly, we missed one rule until halfway through. There was also a rule that seemed unclear in the book, but we could agree to do it one way or another going forward. Overall, this was a fun game that will be more fun to play the 2nd time.

Fun, Clear directions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a relaxing game to play! I have played Kingdomino and the game play felt similar. It was nice to have a set-up board labeled for different amounts of players. I also liked the individual boxes for the decks. My kids have lots of gameboard experience, so my 7 year old played independently. I enjoyed the versatility and the calm game play. The directions were clear and had very good pictures.

High quality materials

Life In Reterra is a game in which the object is to build a community and attract inhabitants. The game is for ages 10 and above and for 2 to 4 players. As with most games, there is a bit of set up involved, which included removing plastic wrapping, punching out tiles and sorting cards and tiles into their respective tray. The game is made of good quality materials and looks like it will last a long time.

Really fun once you get it

A lot of rules to try and follow but once you get the hang of it, it is a great strategy game that has you thinking 10 different ways. A game that is based on rebuilding from an apocalyptic state you build a 4x4 terrain with different types of buildings. It depends on what style you are playing it can be a battle of grow or ruin. Played back to back games with the wife and kid and we had loads of fun. I still think my daughter cheated being she beat us the first time.
