[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grinder is compact, comfortable in the hand, and overall, very easy to use. The paddle switch on this makes it much easier to control. The guards that came with it allow me complete any task safely and there is plenty of power coming form this. Whether I am cutting metal, coping trim, or working on tile, this grinder allows me to hold it at any angle comfortably and safely

If you’re in the market… get this!

Having a DeWalt arsenal helps, when it comes to projects and hobbies and this new addition has already proven itself. The 20v lineup is amazing and the power from this grinder is perfect for me and the projects I work on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dewalt has done it again with the dcg408b. This tool has all of the power that you could need to complete any task and to complete it safely with all of the possible guards and easy movement of the guard. And the great paddle switch ensures that the tool won’t easily get switched on when it is not wanted. There is almost no way that this tool could inadvertently turn on and cause you harm. I waited to do two bathroom remodeling jobs with tile showers and floors. Yes, I used a wet tile saw for most of my cuts but used the dcg408b for all of the intricate cuts that you just can’t easily do with a wet tile saw and dewalt does not not let you down with this wonderful tool. Thank you Dewalt

20V MAX angle grinder

Also came with 4 different guards for different types of use. All i can say i like not dragging around an extension cord.

Great for metal cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I primarily use this grinder with a 4.5in flap disc to clean metal for welding. One day I only had a 2ah at the shop and it cleaned the ends of steel tubes with ease. It is very efficient with the battery and even though it was small, it still had plenty of power and kept on wanting to eat away! The paddle switch is easy to use even with thick welding gloves on.

Not your daddies grinder!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This angle grinder has been a fantastic upgrade from my previous one, which I’ve used for over a decade. The paddle-style trigger took a little getting used to, but I found it intuitive and comfortable to operate. The grinder is impressively compact, making it easy to handle.
One of the standout features is the removable handle, which can be mounted on either the right or left side for added versatility. The protective shield is also well-designed—it can be quickly removed by pressing the release lever and twisting, and the latch at the bottom allows for easy access when changing discs or pads. This thoughtful design makes maintenance a breeze!
While I haven’t used it extensively yet, my initial experience has been excellent. It performs exactly as expected, and the modern features elevate its usability. Overall, this grinder is a solid 10/10 in my book!
