Great light, but the app needs lots of improvement. We love the light, we just don’t like the apps layout or complicated processes. The light was easy to install and is super bright. The colors are amazing. Tons of options but needs to be more user friendly.

Title: Great Light, Frustrating Installation

I was really excited for this light—I already have the Govee 18” ceiling lamp and love it, so I had high expectations for this one. Unfortunately, the mounting process has been a frustrating experience. The instructions are unclear, and there’s no helpful guidance or video explaining how the mounting bracket should be oriented.
I’ve had to remount it twice and still haven’t been able to get it aligned properly with my viewing direction, which defeats the purpose of the light. It would make a huge difference if there were a clear indicator—like an arrow—showing which way the bracket should face.
That said, the light itself is fantastic once it’s up and running. Just be mindful of the mounting orientation—it’s not as straightforward as it should be.
