It is stunning. The only draw back is that it does give a strong overhead, directional light so beware of placement.

The lamp is beautiful, matches perfectly to my mid century decor. The light is very directional so great when I'm on my laptop or reading on my couch. It isn't great to make the room bright but good enough if you just want minimal light in the room. The stand has a lovely brushed brass color, not too shiny which is what I wanted. The head can tilt slightly up/down/across but only like an inch.
