This floor lamp is AMAZING! So bright, with multiple settings. The foot print is small, so it's unobtrusive in the room. It literally throws light in our entire room (we have an open concept floor plan for the living and dining rooms and kitchen.

I'm not usually one to write reviews but I was blown away by this lamp! My roommate and I recently moved into a garden-level apartment without any overhead lighting and have been hunting for high-value floor lamps. The Sky Floor Lamp totally floored us! It looks like natural light is streaming into the apartment - it illuminates the room better than many overhead lights I've had. The three different settings are just an added bonus. I've been carrying it with me from room to room -- so I will definitely be coming back to buy more soon!

This floor lamp does exactly what I want it to do. My ceiling is 8', and it bounces a LOT of light off the ceiling. I replaced two lousy lamps from big box retailers. This is sleeker, prettier, heavier, and does a better job of presenting diffuse, indirect light. I am constitutionally allergic to ceiling lamps, and torchieres can sometimes feel so dated. Not this one! It recedes into the background and does its job of turning my ceiling into a bright light card that warmly fills the room.
This lamp won't work for you if you have 10' or higher ceilings or ceilings that are not WHITE or light colored.

My wife and I are very happy with these lamps. They are bright and modern. The style is great in that they have no lamp shades - nothing to collect dust. We would buy them again. If you are the kind of person whose house is a frame through which you wish others to view your life, then maybe you want to spend a lot more money on this project as part of some grand professionally-designed space. These things do not say "upper middle class status symbol" to your visitors. If just need a practical lighting solution, these unobtrusive, inexpensive, dimmable lamps are a good value. Also, we assembled them in four minutes. Assembly is intuitive and required no tools.

I absolutely love this lamp. It arrived quickly, was easy to assemble, and looks incredibly modern and sleek. I have another lamp in my apartment, but this is the only one i use because of all the settings it offers - the fact that the light points upwards, as opposed to down, makes a HUGE difference in ambiance.

Nice light, and very bright. However, it changes dimness levels without prompting. It also turns off randomly. Hopefully, this is a one-off and not an engineering issue for all of these lights. Waiting on a response from customer service for a replacement.

My apartment is new and modern which also sadly means that there are no lights in my living room or dining room. This made my apartment feel very dark and the standard lamp I had was just not cutting it. After some research on LED lamps, I found the sky floor lamp and was so excited to try it out. The shipping was quick and the difference in light was incredible. While it is brightest in the part of the room that it sits, I was shocked to see that its light stretched 20+ feet to the other side of my apartment. I am so happy with this purchase and have alreayd recommended it to my coworkers who live in similarly lit homes.

Lamp Gives Great Light, but

This is a handsome, nice looking LED lamp; just what I needed ASAP for my home office (relatively so since it was back-ordered). The lamp gives great light for my needs. It would be a better product if the tilt capacity was a tad greater; perhaps the design doesn't want the light to shine in the eyes of a 6' 8" inch human. My issue was the lamp arrived with the top part of its floor base already marred with some type of scuff-mark; when you buy a new lamp you don't expect this "already lived-in look"; reflects bad quality control. Lamp assembly instructions were poorly "not-worded"; assembly was intuitive figure-it-out. This might explain others reviews I read where the lamp didn't or wouldn't work for them; the internal lamp wires n the ""stem"" probably got twisted, stretched, or pulled. Four-stars because I like the LED light it produces for my needs; for its overall product quality and cost: its probably a three-star item.
