There is a major flaw with this model. Windows 11 modern standby (S0) does not work properly with the installed Realtek Wifi adapter in this model (RTL8852BE Wifi 6 802.11ax). When coming out of "Sleep" you may experience poor wifi performance and or frequent Wifi Dropouts and disconnects. There is a work around in the device manager network adapter settings - set Leisure Power Save to "Low". Another thing you can do is restart the laptop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this computer as a replacement for an employee in charge of a new project, the implementation of a new manufacturing plant. He needed to open and manipulate an heavy drawing displaying all the plant with all the machinery at once.
This laptop is almost as good as the one fron the engineer (Thinkpad P17 Gen2 type 20YU)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my first Teams meeting using this laptop and there was no sound - they can hear me, I can't hear them - it was horrible. I got in touch with my IT, sent him videos, he could not believe it. I was wondering why we did not hear our conveyancer that morning! We rebooted and not sure if it was a glitch but it got fixed. Imagine not having speakers on your computer! Right - it was unimaginable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Durable units with excellent battery life and an excellent screen for business use, the 1920 x 1200 display gives a lot more viewable area. These units still have buttons for the mouse, plus a very good trackpad that puts other competitors to shame. One on our previous E16's was dropped, and apart from a corner being a little worn, you can't even tell.

Now it is working great. I have bought IBM/Lenovo Thinkpads for many years and am totally sold on the Trackpoint mouse and the service.
