Great controller but not for ps5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This controller looks and feels fantastic. It performs well with low latency but there is one major flaw with it. It will not turn on your ps5 wirelessly because it only works with the wireless dongle that is provided. This will make a great controller for PC but not for ps5 in my opinion unless you want to be getting up and turning your ps5 on manually every time you want to use this controller.

Almost Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Razer Wolverine V2 Pro is a foray into modded controllers by one of the most well-known peripheral brands in the game. For years, high-end gaming mice have been synonymous with the brand name, and the quality of this controller shows they’ve learned a lot over the years.
When playing with this controller, you first notice the buttons. Every press of the face buttons or joypad will result in a reassuring click reminiscent of the aforementioned mice that made this brand famous. They feel great in an action combat or fighting game and couple well with the analog sticks. Now, these sticks aren’t electromagnetic, so stick drift will come into play eventually, but they have a dead zone feature you can adjust in the mobile app to help stave off that problem for years.

They feel great in an action combat or fighting game and couple well with the analog sticks. Speaking of the software, they have a phone app that is easy to use and handles all the features you want, from helping you change the colors of the RGB on the controller to picking what the six remappable extra buttons on this controller do. That’s right, this controller has two triggers on the back, two buttons above the triggers, and another two on the top that can all be remapped. By the way, those top buttons, namely your right and left triggers, can be locked into button mode to make quick shots in your favorite battle royale even faster.
There is one downside that I did notice amongst all the glory of this controller, however. It, unfortunately, only works through a wired connection or through an included Bluetooth dongle. This wouldn’t be a problem, except the PlayStation 5 doesn’t use Bluetooth for its peripherals for the specific reason I experienced while playing. See, many devices in your home are probably already emitting Bluetooth signals, especially in an area like your living room. This means that sometimes the controller will have latency issues or even ghost your inputs (input being sustained after you’ve stopped) caused by interfering signals. This isn’t a problem if you’re buying this controller to use in wired mode or on a PC since all of my testing showed no issues in those use cases. This is a 250 dollar controller, though, and it’s a little frustrating to have to use a dongle to connect to the console it was designed for.
If you can look past that minor issue, you will find a very high-quality and useable controller that, with the added buttons and software, can not only have a long life but also introduce you to a new world of modified gaming. It should be on your list of choices, especially if you want a controller from a reputable brand. PS5 Usage: 3.5/5 stars; PC Usage: 5/5 stars.

The grip texture is nice and comfortable. And using the app to remap the controller bindings is very simple. And the interchangeable joysticks are very easy to swap and feel secure. It is overall a very good controller!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this controller. The toggles are so responsive. It comes with two toggle head replacements, instruction manual, connecting cord, and a type A USB dongle. It has extra triggers on the back making for a great addition to any gamer that likes to use custom hotkeys. It feels solid but light weight in your hands. My biggest fear using a third party remote as a PS5 user is not having the clickable box at the top (I admit, I don't know what it's called but it opens my map). The razor wolverine pro did not disappoint. It is included and fully functional. I love the controls on the back to switch the controller from wired to wireless and PS5 to PC mode.
