As perfect as the 8" but a pinch smaller

This has become my "other" favorite knife since purchasing a year ago. My favorite is the 8" version. The price was so fair that I had to have it. The 7" blade opens up versatile uses such as paring with the heel of the blade near the bolster and mincing shallots and garlic with the tip since the shorter blade is easy to control. if you don't have a lot of room to prep food but still want a full and solid chef knife, this is perfect. The handle is very comfortable to hold on to for hours on end. I hope that this 40 year Anniversary knife with its amazing price will encourage cooks to try out a great product.

I bought this as a birthday for my daughter. I have owned one for several years. She lives it as much as I do! She told me yesterday it's the only knife she'll use. I wanted to buy her the set but they were out of stock. The handle is what throws it over the top. I cook a great deal and as a senior citizen the comfort of the handle makes a difference. Excellent quality and comfort!

I bought one for my son for Christmas and had to have one myself. It's the perfect size to use as an every day tool in the kitchen,the price was great and delivery prompt.

The chef's knife is the work horse in the kitchen and this 7" Four Star blade is a really great size, you'll barely notice the one inch difference from a traditional 8". The Four Star handle is extremely comfortable and the full bolster allows for a controlled pinch grip.

Every kitchen needs a good chef knife. The Four Star is comfortable and sharp. Whether it's the 6", 7" or 8", that's a personal preference.

This knife lives up to its reputation! Tried and true for over 40 years, this is a super sharp, durable German Steel blade. It's got the heft you need for big jobs like cutting chicken into pieces as well as larger fruits and vegetables. I like using this size to cut down squash and watermelon. The handle is smooth and comfortable.
