We love everything about this toaster. It toasts evenly, pops up gently and high enough we can easily grab the toast, & the crumb tray actually catches crumbs. It feels and looks built to last. This may be the only well-made long slot toaster on the market! I highly recommend this product.

Overheating problems

A beautiful but dangerous toaster. It gets so hot that you can't touch the outside of it. It was a gift, used one time only, so I'm hoping that I can exchange it for one that works properly, as I didn't get a receipt and no longer have the box.

Due to the metal housing and the heat development of the heating elements, the outer wall of the toaster becomes hot. When you do a lot of toasting back to back or on higher settings then the outside can get hot. Can handle those long sourdough slices !
