This item is better than the skin scissors quality but still not remotely as good as the scissors we bought in Germany in early 2000s. Not sure why it’s so inferior to the older models.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Feel dull and leave ragged edges on the nails

I purchased these scissors to replace my lost nail scissors. When I used my new Zwilling scissors for the first time to trim the fingernails, I was greatly disappointed with the scissors performance. The blades felt dull and left ragged edges on my fingernails, so I had to file the nails thoroughly to remove the raggedness crested by the scissors. Their design felt awkward. I felt they were uncomfortable to hold in the hand and trim the nails. My spouse tried the scissors for trimming his fingernails and said they felt dull to him too. It was an unpleasant surprise to me because I have purchased many kitchen knives from Zwilling in the past and was quite happy with the knives's quality. So I did not expect a subpar performance from their scissors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I originally purchased these amazing nail scissors in 2008. In 2018 they broke at the sauter point and for the past 3 years I bought other brands but none compare to the excellent steel and design of these Zwilling J.A. Henckels nail scissors. So I had to buy the again ~ gladly.

These nail scissors are high quality. The satin finished steel does not rust. The sharp blade and shape make them ideal for both nail and cuticle trimming. The handle loops are large and comfortable hold.

Great nail/cuticle scissors! They're compact but have wide finger openings. The edge is very sharp cutting nails and cuticles with ease. Amazing quality and edge retention.

These scissors are precise and sharp. Although a small profile the handle holes are still comfortable for any sized hand. These are made from quality stainless steel you can really feel the difference from the drugstore alternative.
I would recommend this to a friend!
