Not happy

Battery died in 2 1/2 months. I tried all advised debugging methods. It’s not worthy of the Philips Sonicare reputation. I’ve had Sonicare toothbrushes since the late 90’s.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Vibrates the plaque away!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can truly feel the sonic vibrations. My mouth felt cleaner after each use. It made me aware how close I would bring the toothbrush to my gums, which isn’t good for you! Luckily the toothbrush adjusts the vibrations.
I enjoyed that there is a timer, four 30 second intervals for each quadrant. You can hear the vibration pitch go higher to signal you to move to the next area.
The toothbrush is lightweight and visually appealing. It matches the aesthetic of my place with the clean and smooth lines. I highly recommend for those who like to be effective and efficient with their brushing. I am not a morning person and I can brush with my eyes closed by just listening to the vibrations. Highly recommend to everyone to maintain their dental hygiene.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product part of product testing and I was amazed to see a difference as my teeth are much cleaner. I like the bristles as they are soft and doesn't make my gums bleed. I feel my teeth are more smooth and mouth feels really clean.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toothbrush has two modes: slow and fast. the problem is the fast mode is also slow. i just use it as a plain tooth brush

Hi there,
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your Philips Sonicare 4100 toothbrush is vibrating as expected.
If your toothbrush is vibrating less powerfully than before, the troubleshooting tips below may help you find a solution. A toothbrush without a fully charged battery may need more power to vibrate at its original strength. We recommend charging it overnight for at least 24 hours. The chargers for all Sonicare toothbrushes are different and not compatible with other Sonicare models. We recommend charging the toothbrush using the original charger that came with it. Your toothbrush has the EasyStart feature. This feature causes your toothbrush to increase its vibration level slowly after each brushing session. The increase in vibration will occur over the first fourteen sessions. If you want your toothbrush to vibrate normally, we recommend turning off the EasyStart feature. It could also mean that your brush head is worn. We recommend replacing your brush head every three months. You can purchase a new brush head in our online store.
If this does not help or if you have any further questions, please feel free to get in touch via social media. We’re available on Facebook (@Philips) and Twitter (@PhilipsCare). Don’t worry, if you don’t use social media, you can also reach out to us via the contact page: www.Philips.com/contact.

I had a different sonicare prior to this one - it is so subpar. Not worth the reduced price. You might as well have a non electric toothbrush. Would not recommend to anyone

doesn't ship with AC adapter, no waterproof option

This product ships only with a USB charger, and they don't sell a splashproof USB->AC adapter. I'm all for green initiatives, but most people need to charge this in the bathroom, so this is really dumb.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an old phillips for years thought I should get a new one. This new one will not even hold a charge long enough to brush your teeth. looks like garbage to me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tool has a mind of its own, and never sure what speed from "easy start" to vigorous brushing will come forth. When I have time, am going to call to make a complaint. The tool is too expensive to just throw out and the dental hygienist who recommended the sonic phillips said there were alternatives.
