I don’t need my toothbrush to talk to my mobile phone, nor do I need multiple cleaning modes such as polish, gums, etc. Battery life is in excess of two weeks, but I expect that will diminish over time. The alerts for time and pressure help in ensuring proper cleaning of teeth. The units last a long time. I believe this is my third one in close to ten years. This 4100 cleans just as well as more elaborate Sonicare units that I have used in the past.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I particularly enjoy the timer function because it gives me confidence I'm brushing the proper amount of time. In addition, when I apply too much pressure when brushing, the feature that alerts about the pressure is really nice. In short, I like the product a lot and it completely meets or exceeds expectations. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that I was supposed to receive two toothbrush heads when I registered the product. I haven't received them and was never notified they were on the way. I'm not sure what that's all about.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price point this is a great toothbrush. I have owned many other sonicsre toothbrushes at various price points. When my last one died (stopped charging and turning on) I didn’t want to spend the extra money to buy the same model so figured I would try this version. It has worked out well. It is lighter and thinner than my previous one which threw me off at first but after using it for a while, it seems normal. There are no frills with this one, just two speeds and a pressure sensor. Overall a great toothbrush.

It does not approach the performance of the other one I have but neither did the price. This one would be good for traveling as the risk of forgetting or losing it won't be a large loss.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I began using my electric toothbrush, I have had fewer flair ups of a condition I am being treated for that involves blisters on my gums. The oral surgeon whom I see every three months said this last checkup was the best I've had since I began my treatment with him. I am gradually going to be able to stop taking prednisone for the inflammation.
