[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Phillips before, for a while, maybe 5 to 7 years. I was happy with it, so I got another. I was told that the basic model was fine by my dentist’s hygienist. And it is. I was surprised by how light it is, meaning weight, but how powerful it is. The sound it makes when you’re brushing too hard is helpful. Price was right too. Also was able to use the replacement brushes from previous model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Philips electric toothbrush. This version is lighter and seemingly less powerful. Nevertheless, the brushing experience is as expected--I went several months with only a manual toothbrush and I was immediately impressed with the difference after I purchased this new one. The recharging mechanism is frustrating--it requires an HDMI plug; not something I typically keep or use in the bathroom...
The two power settings are superfluous for me. The lower setting is too gentle, but I could imagine someone with sensitive gums finding it useful.
