[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works fine, but the vibration of the plastic against plastic is annoyingly high pitched and loud. I wish there was a rubber buffer between the replacement toothbrush head and the handle. The sound is just annoying and loud enough that if my husband is in bed already and I’m using it, he hears it enough that it interrupts his sleep.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

He had his gums lasered before getting braces, so the gums occasionally try to grow back where they aren't wanted. Brushing a little more forcefully is painful and ineffective, so our dentist recommended we try this toothbrush. My son loves it! Since using this toothbrush, he hasn't been "scolded" at the orthodontist for needing to brush better/more efficiently. Also, the brush head lasts much longer than a typical toothbrush when used on braces. This purchase was definitely worthwhile!
