[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recommended to get an electric toothbrush by my dentist. I started doing my research and found this one. Being an electric toothbrush newbie, I wanted something good, but I also knew I wanted to be able to determine what I liked and dislike. I really like that a full charge last all week. I haven’t let it completely expire but I charge it every Sunday and the battery is strong all week. I like how sleek it is and how the stand doesn’t take up space. The 2 things that I would like for myself is a bigger brush head. I really enjoyed my REACH manual toothbrush from the dollar tree because i like the size of the brush head and that it came with a charging block. Otherwise I throughly enjoy my toothbrush.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my last sonicare toothbrush died after 20 years of use I purchased a different electric toothbrush, after the disappointment of the sub par cleaning I purchased a new Sonicare and am delighted with it! I'll never go without it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its pretty much the perfect toothbrush. My only criticism is that the battery could last a little longer so I don't have to travel with the charger.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look, battery life is good, does a good but not great job. The head is small, but so are other electric toothbrushes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the clean feeling I have after using this appliance, but I think the barrel is too slick and is hard to manipulate when using it. Sometimes it slips because water and toothpaste coat the barrel. That is why I give it a 4 star. there should be some type of grippy surface when repositioning the brush head to move from one side of the mouth to the other.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your review, and we're sorry to hear that the performance of your Philips Sonicare 4100 Series is not as expected.
Please follow these instructions while brushing. Wet the bristles of the brush head. Apply a small amount of toothpaste (the size of a pea). Too much toothpaste will create excessive foam that will run down the handle. Place the bristles against your teeth at a 45° angle towards the gum line, and close your mouth around the brush head (to prevent spattering while brushing). Press the power button to start brushing. Apply light pressure and move the brush head slowly across the teeth in a small back and forth motion, allowing the brush to do the work. Continue this motion throughout your brushing cycle. Your toothbrush has a Quadpacer feature; you can divide your mouth into four sections. The Quadpacer will vibrate intermittently to tell you to move on to the next section. Clean your toothbrush after use by rinsing your brush head and bristles. Wipe the handle with a damp cloth.
