[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 12 year old son on the spectrum. It’s always been a battle getting him to brush his teeth properly. The timer is so perfect. He has been brushing his teeth properly since we got the toothbrush. The vibration when he brushes too hard is great. After his last dental appointment he started brushing too hard so this has been a big help. He is keeping his teeth healthy and clean and mom can stop nagging .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an old electric toothbrush that lasted for 17 years and finally died. This was a replacement, but it's not really. It doesn't seem very strong. My mouth used to feel so clean after brushing, but after using this one, I feel like I need to brush again with a regular toothbrush. Definitely use a tongue scraper with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] seems like just making noise in the mouth not cleaning teeth, not enough power , I had different model before it was good of course it was expensive.

Hi,
Thanks for your review regarding our Sonicare 4100 Series Toothbrush. We are sorry to hear that your new toothbrush is not as powerful as expected, and we hope we can improve your next brushing session! Kindly make sure that the handle has been fully charged for 24 hours with no interruptions. Check that the charger is not placed on a metal surface, or close to other chargers as this can interfere with the charging process. If the issue persists, check if the EasyStart feature is still active. The EasyStart feature gently increases the power over the first 14 brushings to help you get used to the brushing with the Philips Sonicare. You can follow these steps to deactivate the feature: 1: Put the handle on the plugged-in charger. 2: Press and hold the power on/off button while the handle remains on the charger. 3: Keep the power on/off button pressed until you hear a single short beep (after 3 seconds). 4: Release the power on/off button- - Triple tone of low-med-high means the EasyStart feature has been activated. The battery level indicator light will also blink green 2 times to confirm activation. - Triple tone of high-med-low means the EasyStart feature has been deactivated. The battery level indicator light will blink amber 1 time to confirm deactivation.

Hi,
Thanks for your review regarding your new Sonicare toothbrush. We are sorry to hear that your new toothbrush did not work as expected, what a shame that you'll never see it again. To help a new user transition to a new Sonicare power toothbrush, this model has an EasyStart feature activated. This feature gently increases the power over the first 14 brushings to help the new user adapt to brushing with a Philips Sonicare toothbrush.
If you decide to try again with another Sonicare toothbrush, please feel free to get in touch via social media. We’re available 24/7 on Facebook and Twitter. Alternatively, you can reach out to us via the contact page on our website www.philips.com/support. One of our colleagues will then try their best to help you further.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had many previous Sonicare toothbrushes in the past and have been thrilled about them. My last one was the older 4100 model (slightly bigger in size). I received this 4100 as a warranty replacement. Initially I was amazed at how small the body has become. It came with a USB charger instead of AC powered. The annoying part is that you have to provide your own brick.
That is just an annoyance. The real negative part is that now it only lasts FOUR days instead of 2 weeks, like my old model 4100 and what the new 4100 manual says. My usage and charge pattern is IDENTICAL to how I used my old model 4100.
As an Engineer I was fearing this as a smaller size battery usually means a smaller capacity. And it looks like my fear came true.
However, it does the job in cleaning my teeth, as usual.

Hi,
Thanks for your review regarding our Sonicare 4100 Toothbrush. We appreciate your feedback, and can understand that sometimes switching to a different system can take some time to get used to. By switching to a USB charger in our Philips Sonicare 1000-4000 Series alone, we can use up to 189,210 kg less plastic every 4 years. It's great to hear that your new Sonicare is cleaning your teeth as expected, what a shame that the battery is not lasting more than four days. This model should also provide you with 14 days of brushing time, kindly fully charge the battery for 24 hours with no interruptions and try again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toothbrush has completely changed my oral hygiene habits. I actually look forward to brushing my teeth now! My gums have never been in batter health. I owe it to my new toothbrush!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it is so uncomfortable to use the vibrations on my teeth, really didn't like it and stopped using after two weeks when it knocked a filling out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Phillips toothbrush at the recommendation of my dentist. Since then, I have purchased several additional toothbrushs— some as gifts and some as replacements. My only criticism is that the stems holding the brush often fail. This should be addressed.
