It's now unusable because of the noise

This is a followup to my first review as Pike6.
The toothbrush is now unusable because of the noise from the loose shaft and I'll be replacing it very soon. It went downhill fast after my initial review and it's now louder than our hair dryer.
And to the person (or bot) that replied to me before, what you responded with was not helpful or relevant. I know the brush vibrates. I know it makes noise (initially the hum actually sounded like a strong motor - now it's a too loud clatter). I know there is supposed to be a gap between the handle and the brush. I know it should be placed firmly on the shaft and it is/has been. I know the gap area should be free of debris. I know the shaft area can be cleaned and I did that regularly. The problem is the shaft came loose after 3 yrs and 3 months of use. I think that's unacceptable for a device that was properly used and not abused and wanted you to know what happened.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. This is not the experience we wish you to have. The Sonicare toothbrushes use powerful vibrations to clean your teeth. The sound produced is louder than a manual toothbrush. If this is your first electric toothbrush, it can take a while to get used to electric brushing. Also, please ensure the brush head is firmly placed on the handle and not loose. A small gap will remain between the handle and brush head as needed for vibration. Additionally, make sure that the bottom of the brush head and the area around the metal shaft is free of debris. You can clean it with lukewarm water or a soft cloth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used electric toothbrushes in the past. They felt like the cleaned well enough, but they were heavy and not easy to manuver around when brushing your teeth. this one is awesome... Very light and easy to manuver. Brushing is now a breeze...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the way my teeth feel after brushing and this was a gift from my daughter because she swears by the toothbrush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and easy to use. The on/off button is soft and a little hard to locate if you're not looking directly at it. My previous brush had a button that was a color different than the handle which made it a little easier to find. My previous brush worked for many years and I only had to replace it because the material covering the on/off button wore out. If the material was sturdier I could have continued to use the brush much longer. I hope this one holds up. Would be nice if we could get replacement parts instead of having to throw a working battery away. Also, I don't like the USB plug, but I did find that my old battery charger will work with this brush.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love my new sonicare I have had several during the years. This one is a bit smaller which is good for me as I have a smaller mouth. Also charge last one mont

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great! Has a built in timer and two different speed settings. Definitely cleans your teeth better than a manual or any other electric toothbrush I have used over the years. Highly recommend.
