[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the 4100 Series performs well, massages gums gently and provides a thoroughly cleaning. A few weaknesses: the thumb activation button deteriorates too quickly. A fingernail can puncture the covering of this button, which is unfortunate and unintentional as it can be difficult to operate the button without at least some small part of the fingernail coming in contact with its surface.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Phillips Sonic Care toothbrushes for many years. This one was disappointing. It hardly feels like it brushes my teeth at all. It’s very very soft. I even put the toothbrush head from another Sonic Care toothbrush and it is still way too soft.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Sonicare toothbrushes for many, many years. I believe this is the 4th one that I've owned. Over the years I've seen more features get added to the toothbrush but the quality keeps getting worse. In fact, the last one I owned broke after only two and a half years. This new one is a smaller diameter than prior models and that is good. What I don't like is I have to reset the vibration level after recharging the battery. I don't know why the default is set to the low setting because that one just doesn't feel like it's cleaning my teeth. The higher setting is more consistent with the intensity of the prior models and that should be the default.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a RDH and have always recommended the Sonicare but this model falls short! It does not have the power of the previous models.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These product are great until they decide to last only 2 years and then break. There is apparently a problem with a screw becoming loose, and that causes the vibration to completely break. I've had 2 that both have broken right after the 2 year mark... funny enough that their "warranty" lasts 2 years. I'd recommend going OralB given I have a couple family members that have had their OralB brushes for 10+ years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product that is working better than expected! The gadget stays charged and the brushes remove all residue from the surface and between the teeth. The brush head is the perfect tension for the removal of residue but doesn't damage the gum surface. The ability to reach areas between the teeth and remove debris has improved using this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Sonicare for over ten years and figured it was about to die so we got a new Sonicare. Can't really tell any difference in cleaning. The one thing I liked about the older one was the size of the handle. I have large hands and this new one is not as easy to hold and guide.
