Needs frequent charging

I'm a huge fan of electric toothbrushes but would not recommend the 4100 version due to needing to frequently charge, and I've already gone through two because it started needing to be charged so frequently, even though I had only had it for a year. Is there something different about this version that leads to frequent charging?

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear about the experience with your Philips Sonicare 4100 Series Sonic electric toothbrush. We would like to inform you that the battery life of your Sonicare toothbrush depends on how often and how long you brush. The battery will last with a full charge if you brush for two minutes twice a day. We hope this was helpful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Philips is lightweight and easy to use. Love it- my teeth get cleaner than brushing in "old" fashioned way. The charge lasts for 19 days. It is easy to use when traveling.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard to believe my opinion matters. You’ve blown me off, apparently, since Day One.
