[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought 4100 series to replace another Phillips toothbrush. It had many features but we weren’t using many of it features. Our current toothbrush has the basic features we needed to get a great result and bought it at a fair price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replace our old style toothbrush with the new 4100 series toothbrush and really like the improvements. Less bulky then the old style and easier to maneuver around. Recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first electric toothbrush so it has taken some getting used to. Once I learned how I need to hold it and move it across my teeth it got easier. I notice an improvement in the whiteness of my teeth already

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I expected a lot from this toothbrush after my dentist told me it was "the best." It's not working out for me. The brush head that comes with it is too narrow and doesn't clean my teeth effectively. Even worse (really!) is the high pitched whine that comes with the "sonic" feature. Some sounds cause pain in my left ear, and that noise from the toothbrush is very uncomfortable, especially if the stem of the brush attachment happens to touch a tooth while I'm brushing. OUCH!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi ChuckIt,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. This is not the experience we want you to have with our Philips Sonicare toothbrush. We recommend that you remove the brush head from the handle. Turn on your toothbrush. The original Philips Sonicare brush heads are recommended. Brush heads that are not original may produce more noise than original brush heads. If your toothbrush is making an unusually loud noise, it could be due to a loose brush head. Check that the brush head is securely attached to the handle and not loose. A small gap will remain between the handle and the brush head due to vibration.
We hope this makes your experience better. If not, please reach out to us via social media. We’re available on Facebook (@Philips) and Twitter (@PhilipsCare). Don’t worry, if you don’t use Social Media, you can also reach out to us via the contact page: www.Philips.com/contact.
