[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The body is too slim. Nice design but too small of a diameter. Can’t recharge the unit with an electrical outlet. This requires an additional piece. I prefer the older models. I have the water pick too. That body is too thick and that a comfortable way to hold. The opening on the side doesn’t allow to completely empty the container
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this unit needs to charge about every 4 days...not the 10 days shown on the instructions...but this works as well as the other model i had previously...very happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned three Sonicare toothbrushes and have kept my teeth cavity free the time I’ve owned them. They also have kept my breath smelling great. Way to go Philips Sonicare!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this as a gift. Came in handy. Just had surgery on my right hand, so now I can't use it for 8-10 weeks. Not used to using left hand, but Sonic electric toothbrush makes it easy to brush my teeth! One of the best gifts I received!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had Phillips previously, quality is not nearly as good. After brushing, I still have particles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your review, and we're sorry to hear that the performance of your Philips Sonicare 4100 Series is not as expected.
Please follow these instructions while brushing. Wet the bristles of the brush head. Apply a small amount of toothpaste (the size of a pea). Too much toothpaste will create excessive foam that will run down the handle. Place the bristles against your teeth at a 45° angle towards the gum line, and close your mouth around the brush head (to prevent spattering while brushing). Press the power button to start brushing. Apply light pressure and move the brush head slowly across the teeth in a small back and forth motion, allowing the brush to do the work. Continue this motion throughout your brushing cycle. Your toothbrush has a Quadpacer feature; you can divide your mouth into four sections. The Quadpacer will vibrate intermittently to tell you to move on to the next section. Clean your toothbrush after use by rinsing your brush head and bristles. Wipe the handle with a damp cloth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the clean feeling I have after using this appliance, but I think the barrel is too slick and is hard to manipulate when using it. Sometimes it slips because water and toothpaste coat the barrel. That is why I give it a 4 star. there should be some type of grippy surface when repositioning the brush head to move from one side of the mouth to the other.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look, battery life is good, does a good but not great job. The head is small, but so are other electric toothbrushes.
