[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with this Barbie Basics Model 09 doll. Right out of the box, she has a very sleek and elevated look. The gold dress is simple but elegant, and the fabric has a nice shimmer that makes her stand out without being too flashy. It fits well and gives her a clean, modern style.
One of the best features is the Made-to-Move body. She is very poseable, which makes a big difference whether you’re displaying her or styling her for photos. The joints feel sturdy and not loose, which is important for a collector doll.
Her face sculpt and makeup are beautiful and detailed, with a natural glam look that matches the neutral theme of the collection. The hair is soft and styled nicely right out of the packaging, with minimal frizz.
The packaging itself feels premium and comes with a certificate of authenticity, which adds to the collector value. This definitely feels more like a display or collector piece than a toy for rough play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is so gorgeous. The gold dress really pops against the skin color of the doll. The makeup used on the dolls face is also very pretty. I love how this doll has a curvy body type and tall in height. It is really meaningful to see body positive dolls. I also love the entire gimmick of the Barbie Basics line. I can totally see kids and collectors falling in love with this product.

This Basic Barbie is everything but!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Barbie so much. She has a curvy body, beautiful gold dress with matching earrings and shoes and even her own stand! One of my favorite things about her is that she is posable! I love to share my collection with others and so the fact thay I can pose her on her stand and showcase her is such a win for me. I also allow my daughter to play with all my dolls and she has been obsessed with her since she came out of the box. As usual Mattel knocked it out of the park.
